A more modern approach to winemaking in a world class location between land and sea and the wilderness of the Tuscan Maremma encompassing some of the biggest names in the Italian wine industry from Ornellaia and Sassicaia to Michele Satta, Tenuta Argentiera and Tua Rita.

Your day experiencing Super Tuscans in the amazing Bolgheri wine area will start from your hotel or villa, when your English-speaking driver comes to pick you up in a comfortable, luxury vehicle. You will reach Bolgheri via a long cypress lined road called the Via Bolgherese. The town is small and charming with an 11th century castle of the Gherardesca family.

After visiting Bolgheri, you will drive among endless vineyards to an exquisite winery where you'll sample some spectacular wines under the expert guidance of your winery guide. You will be introduced to Super Tuscan wines, winemaking in general and the latest trends in viticulture.

A delicious lunch awaits you in the medieval hill hamlet of Castagneto Carducci overlooking Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards and the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea. But your trip is not over because we'll visit another famous winery in the afternoon (according to their availability or your specific requests), tasting other excellent wines, to come back home sure to have tested the fruits of different grapes and working methods.

If you would rather put your toes in the Mediterranean Sea, you can be accompanied for a walk through the fragrant coastal pine groves down to the beach before heading back to your hotel.
